Okay...a whole packet of zip ties then!!!

Has to be said though that I have seen ute bonnets held down by one or more of the following: ratchet strap/s, occy strap (hood ornament to grille), roofing screws, drawbar li nch pin...and yes, reusable zip ties.

But your solution is the only one that actually works...

There’s a part of me that really wants to install hood pins on something, but I refuse to drill holes through the hood of anything I own.
